Disney on a Budget: Tickets on Sale Now!

Looking to go to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL? Always thought it was too expensive? Especially if you have a larger family? Starting today you can do Disney on a budget! Ticket sales for the 4-day, “4-Park Magic Ticket” start today, May 23, 2023.

The tickets retail for $99 per person per day ($396 per person total) and give you access to all 4 parks on different days. Enjoy EPCOT’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Review or Animal Kingdom’s Pandora Flight of Passage or Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or the amazing dining options at Disney’s EPCOT.

Guests can purchase the “4-Park Magic Tickets” beginning on May 23rd for visits from June 1, 2023 through September 24, 2023. Unfortunately weekends like 4th of July (July 1 – July 4) and Labor Day (September 1 – September 4) are blackout days. So if you’re planning to enjoy the Disney parks on those busy weekends, these tickets aren’t for you.

Extra Discounts for Florida Residents

When Disney announced their new ticket package allowing guests to do Disney on a budget, they also introduced a special offer exclusively for Florida residents. The Disney Summer Magic Ticket allows Florida residents to purchase a 3-day ticket for $70 per day ($209 total) or a 4-day ticket for $58 per day ($229 total). Theme park reservations are required for the Florida resident tickets. However, they are not required for the new 4-day 4-park Magic Tickets. Extra blackout days for Florida residents do apply.

4-Park Magic Ticket Available Add-ons

For an additional cost, guest can add Park Hopper, and Park Hopper Plus options or water park and sports add-ons to their 4-day Magic Ticket. The water park option adds $35 per ticket but is perfect for beating that summer Florida heat. Disney World has two water park options you can take advantage of including Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park (closed as of the publication of this article).

Disney on a Budget

If you’re looking to enjoy Disney on a budget, these new options can be the perfect option for you. Enjoy EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival, which starts in July and runs through the fall before EPCOT transitions to EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays which features the Holiday Cookie Stroll (a family favorite of ours, I must add).

In the same announcement Disney also introduced other ways they are continuing to improve your vacation experience including eliminating the current Park Reservation system (which goes away after the holiday rush in January 2024) and the return of the ever-popular Disney Dining Plan, which also returns in January 2024.
