Disney is like another world and do they know how to throw a party. The Celebration of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary will be so much more than rides. There are always new things to explore but with this 18 month celebration there is plenty of time to explore some of the new and unique items.
Magic Kingdom may be turning 50 but there are new and exciting things happening at all of the parks. Be sure to check out the Fab 50 character collection of statues of your favorite characters around the parks. There are 2 new night time shows, and 1 day time show premiering this fall.
At Magic Kingdom, enjoy the Disney Enchantment that will feature new special event dessert parties including Enchantment Pre-Party, Enchantment Treats & Seats and Enchantment After Party. Have you ever wanted to watch the magic from the Seven Seas Lagoon? Now you can with the Ferrytale fireworks dessert cruise – featuring bite-size signature treats, key lime tarts, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Cinderella Castle is sure to look amazing for the celebration with special added details as well.
If you want you can even join the party over at the Contemporary Resort in a sophisticated event at the California Grill. Animal Kingdom will get the new Disney Kite Tails in the Discovery River Theater. Over at Epcot, a new night time display called Harmonious will be set on the World Showcase Lagoon. Special Rose & Crown and Spice Road Table dining packages are coming as well allowing you to enjoy the events right from your table.
And we can’t forget the newest ride at Epcot – Remy’s Ratatouille will be open October 1st. Also debuting at Epcot is the long awaited Space 220 restaurant where you can enter the space elevator and enjoy a unique culinary dining experience.
