Disney’s Hollywood Studios has immersive experiences and attractions for visitors of all ages. If you’re planning a visit to Hollywood Studios, knowing these height requirements in advance is helpful so you can plan your day and set expectations for your little ones. Hollywood Studios has been known for its lack of things to do for the younger kids but knowing what they can do will help you plan your day.

Preparing for Your Visit

To make the most of your time at Hollywood Studios, consider these tips:

  1. Measure Your Kids Ahead of Time
Before heading to the park, measure your child’s height to avoid any surprises. The best tip I have for those close to the height limit is to ride that ride first thing in the morning; you tend to be tallest in the morning. Also, make sure kids understand how to stand straight to get a proper measurement. This will give them the best shot at being able to ride.
  2. Utilize Rider Switch
Disney’s Rider Switch program allows one adult to wait with a child who doesn’t meet the height requirement while the rest of the party rides. Then, the waiting adult can ride without waiting in line again.
  3. Motion Sickness I have one small warning: a few rides at Hollywood Studios have been known to cause some motion sickness. Including Star Tours, Millinuem Falcon Smugglers Run and Rise of Resistance. If you are prone to motion sickness, I recommend watching a ride thru and coming prepared with medication.
  4. Characters Hollywood Studios has a decent amount of Character Meet and Greet locations. A few are also located inside, which is a nice break if it is hot.
  5. Shows As you may have seen, there are several shows and they are all a lot of fun! If you need a break from the heat, the Frozen sing-along is great. If you want to see some spectacular stunts, don’t miss Indiana Jones. Lastly, if you have little ones that need to get some energy out, head over to the Disney Jr Play and Dance they will have a blast!

Conclusion

By planning ahead and making use of services like Rider Switch, your trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be packed with unforgettable memories for the whole family. With something for every age and interest, this park truly lives up to its reputation as a place where dreams come true.
