Cunard Cruises today released updated guidelines for travelers during this Covid-19 pandemic. As of September 14, 2021, their safety measures include:
- Robust vaccination policy for all guests aged 18 and over
- A testing policy for all guests
- Pre-boarding health screening
- Every area of the ship is rigorously and regularly cleaned and disinfected
- Adherence to approved standards for service of food and drink, entertainment and experiences on board and on shore
- Appropriate social distancing in line with latest guidance for cruise lines
- Additional hand-sanitizing stations throughout the ships
- Enhanced ventilation systems providing improved filtration and increased fresh air on board
- All guests are required to wear a face mask, with no exceptions, in specific areas including the terminal, when moving around indoors on board, and when seated in the theatre.
- No longer visiting any country on the UK government’s red list at the point of travel.
- Operating with a reduced occupancy on all ships
